Who We Are
Ame The Band is a queer, genre-blending indie rock project led by vocalist and songwriter Amanda Spinella. With a sound that fuses haunting melodies, alt-rock textures, and emotionally charged storytelling, Ame The Band creates performances that feel both intimate and electrifying — a nostalgic pull wrapped in something strikingly new.
Formed in the Hudson Valley and rooted in community, creativity, and queer liberation, Ame The Band moves fluidly between bold rock sets, dreamy indie-pop atmospheres, and stripped-back acoustic performances. Whether performing as a full four-piece ensemble or expanding the stage with dancers and background vocalists, the band brings an immersive, heart-forward presence to every room they enter.
Our self-titled debut album (2022) received critical acclaim, and our newest single “Know Better” continues to build momentum across streaming platforms. We’ve had the honor of performing at O+ Festival, Colony Woodstock, Woodstock Radio, and iconic NYC venues — consistently recognized for our genre-bending sound and evocative live shows.
